• Married to her husband Shaozhong
• Residents of West Hartford for more than twenty years
• Native of Inner- Mongolia
• Received BA in English from Liaoning University, China
• Taught English at the University of Inner-Mongolia
• Received a second BA in English and her MA in Liberal Studies in Literature from Wesleyan University, Middletown
• Teaches in the Department of Language and Culture Studies at Trinity College  

Naogan believes that the best way for her to give back to the West Hartford community is to be involved in all aspects of town life.  She finds it rewarding to stay involved in public school education.  As a member of the Board of Education in West Hartford, Naogan will work diligently to maintain high standards for our schools.
