Kerry was selected from a pool of 43 applicants. Ms. Jones spent nine years as an elementary teacher and BEST* cooperating teacher at our own Wolcott School. She went on to become the master mentor for grades 5 & 6, Gifted and Talented Resource Teacher, and BEST District Facilitator at West Woods School in Farmington, she was an assistant principal in Bristol and is currently principal of Squadron Line School in Simsbury. She received her A.B. from Dartmouth College, Ed.M. from Harvard University with a concentration in reading and language, and 6^th year Educational Leadership certificate from the University of Hartford.  Kerry brings short and long-term vision, passion, a "can do" attitude and collaborative style. She is good listener, a learner, believes in continuous improvement and always focuses on what is in the best interests of children. She is returning home to West Hartford where she started her career and resides with her family.
